On Tuesday, December 9 at 6:30pm the Joseph’s Area Association and Meriwether Fort Hill Neighborhood Association will be hosting a joint event to celebrate the public release of our new neighborhood plan!

This year, Master’s of Urban Planning students at the University of Louisville worked with our community to develop a new neighborhood plan. Professor Steve Sizemore and some of the studio students will present the final plan to the neighborhood as a starting point for conversations about the direction we would all like to see our area go in over the next few years.

In addition to the neighborhood plan presentation, you will hear end-of-year updates from the leadership of both neighborhood associations, and the Saint Joseph Association will also be holding elections for board members. If you are interested in serving on the Board of Directors of the Saint Joseph’s Area Association, please send us a message so we can add you to the ballot.

This event is free to attend and light bites will be provided. Additionally, Zanzabar will be serving food from their regular menu as well as drinks at the bar if you would like to purchase those on your own.
